Cecilia

Cecilia found her way into caregiving almost by accident. She took a part-time job helping a young woman and quickly realized this was the work she was meant to do. She earned her CNA and Home Health Aide certifications, then made an unusual request of her first agency: send her to every client who needed help, not just one. She wanted the full picture, from hospital floors to private homes to skilled nursing facilities. That early drive paid off. Over more than a decade, Cecilia has cared for people in nearly every setting, including several years supporting clients living with ALS, where she handled tube feedings, respiratory care, Hoyer lifts, and constant repositioning. She often says that caring for someone with ALS taught her everything, because once you have done that level of hands-on work, nothing else feels out of reach. Cecilia is bilingual in English and Spanish and brings a calm, positive energy that helps even reluctant clients feel at ease. She has a natural ability to read what someone needs, whether that is steady conversation, gentle redirection during a difficult moment, or simply a quiet presence in the background. Families who value discretion and adaptability will appreciate how quickly she picks up on preferences and adjusts her approach. Outside of work, Cecilia enjoys jogging and baking for family and friends.
