Miriam

Miriam brings fifteen years of caregiving experience and a perspective shaped by every side of the industry. She started as a CNA at a skilled nursing facility in Encinitas, managing a demanding caseload on the night shift, before moving into private home care. There, her work stood out enough that she was promoted to Client Care Manager, where she hired and trained caregivers, managed compliance with the state registry, and served as the right hand to the company’s owner. That combination of hands-on clinical work and operational leadership gives her an unusually well-rounded understanding of what quality care looks like and what families should expect. Now returning to direct caregiving after raising her family, Miriam is bilingual in English and Spanish and comfortable across a wide range of care needs, from dementia and hospice support to live-in companionship. She has experience with Hoyer lifts, transfers, medication management, and all standard ADLs. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time at the beach, and she has a genuine curiosity about science and the human body that continues to inform her approach to care.
