Sophie

Sophie started caring for others before she ever had a certification, finding families on her own who needed help and building relationships from the ground up. That early instinct led her to earn her CNA, and she went straight into skilled nursing at Aviara Healthcare Center in Encinitas, where she cared for patients across both long-term and short-term units, including those on hospice, feeding tubes, and with complex mobility needs. From there she moved to White Sands La Jolla, where she worked in assisted living and a dedicated dementia care unit before being promoted to Medication Technician. Now pursuing her BSN at National University with a 3.9 GPA, Sophie continues to build on a foundation she started laying years ago. What comes through in Sophie’s approach is a quiet steadiness. She has worked with patients across the full spectrum of care needs, from independent assisted living residents to individuals requiring advanced skilled nursing, and she adapts naturally to each setting. She speaks both English and Spanish, which allows her to connect with a wider range of clients and families. Outside of work and school, Sophie stays active with Pilates and outdoor walks, and enjoys cooking and exploring new restaurants around San Diego.
