About Olivia
Olivia came to caregiving through family first, helping care for her great-grandmother in Alaska before moving to San Diego and earning her CNA. Since then, she has worked in private home care across a wide range of clients — from individuals recovering from surgery to those with advanced dementia and hospice needs. One of her longest placements was with an elderly couple she cared for over a year, supporting both through serious health declines and ultimately being present when each of them passed. That kind of experience, at any age, speaks to a real capacity to stay steady through the hardest moments of care. Olivia is currently pursuing her nursing degree while continuing to work in home care, which she chose deliberately over facility-based settings because she values the one-on-one connection. She is comfortable with transfers, medication reminders, pressure wound care, and all standard ADLs, and has experience with both total-care and more independent clients. Outside of work and school, she enjoys painting, spending time with family, and exploring San Diego.
