Austin brings over a decade of hands-on experience across nearly every care setting, from skilled nursing and memory care to private homes and oncology clinics. As both a certified nursing assistant and medical assistant, she has worked with cancer patients receiving chemotherapy, supported individuals in dedicated dementia units, and provided private live-in care for high-net-worth clients in the San Diego area. That clinical range means she has seen most conditions up close and knows how to adapt her approach to each one. Austin is bilingual in English and Spanish and experienced with the full scope of daily care, including Hoyer lifts, wound care, medication management, and vitals monitoring. She has also worked one-on-one as a behavioral technician, which speaks to her patience and ability to build trust in challenging situations. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, scrapbooking, crafting, and volunteering.
