About Michaela
For Michaela, live-in care isn't just a preference, it's where she does her best work. Over more than a decade of caregiving across Los Angeles, she has supported clients and their families through complex and sensitive care situations, including dementia, hospice, and post-surgical recovery, and has worked in some of the city's most private homes, from Beverly Hills to Malibu. Nurses who have visited her clients have taken note of the depth of her clinical knowledge, which spans ambulation and wound care to medication management and end-of-life support. She considers hospice care among the most meaningful work she does, and speaks of being present with someone at the end of their life as an honor. Michaela is known for being attentive without hovering, reading when a client needs help and when they want independence and space. Communication matters deeply to her, and she takes time to understand exactly what each person in her care needs. Outside of work, she is an old soul who loves to cook and spends her free time at the opera, ballet, and symphony, hiking, and reading. She brings that same warmth and appreciation for life into the homes of the families she serves.
