With over 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Sharon brings exceptional clinical expertise and deep compassion to every family she works with. Originally licensed in Massachusetts in 1986, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Chamberlain University and holds a Board-Certified Certificate in Physiatrics, specializing in the care of individuals with psychiatric, neurological, and chronic conditions. Most of Sharon’s career has been spent in hospitals across New York City and North Carolina, including over a decade as a travel nurse. Her background spans pediatric trauma, long-term care, psychiatric nursing, and home health, making her a highly adaptable and trusted care professional. She has also served clients in group homes and in-home medical settings, with 3+ years of direct in-home nursing experience. She is skilled in managing complex cases, including clients with schizophrenia, diabetes, alcoholism, and behavioral challenges. Sharon recently relocated to West Hollywood, Los Angeles, to be closer to family and is now seeking private-duty opportunities for 12+ hour shifts or live-in care. Whether caring for a medically fragile individual or someone needing psychiatric support, Sharon brings unmatched knowledge, calm confidence, and a warm bedside manner.
