Dee

Dee is a deeply experienced and compassionate caregiver with over 13 years in both clinical and in-home care settings. Her journey into healthcare began over a decade ago at Long Beach City College, where she earned her CNA and worked in hospitals and nursing homes before continuing on to become a Medical Assistant and later an LVN. She has since served as a field nurse, hospice nurse, and private family caregiver, providing one-on-one care through agencies and independently. Dee is highly skilled in hands-on care and end-of-life support, and she brings both medical knowledge and emotional sensitivity to every case. She currently cares for her own elderly mother—herself a former surgical nurse—and understands the importance of patience, communication, and dignity in caregiving. Originally from Carson, Dee is open to 12+ hour shifts or live-in care within a 20-mile radius. She is HCA Registered and also holds expired licenses in CNA and LVN. Her passion for service extends beyond healthcare—she is also a pastor and holds an AA, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate in Theology. She is unavailable on Wednesday and Sunday mornings due to her church commitments but is otherwise flexible and dependable. Dee is known for her calm demeanor, slow and clear communication style, and willingness to go the extra mile—literally and figuratively. She loves driving and is comfortable commuting to and from clients.
